| Who watches 24? It's killing me !!! One firewall hacked to take over air traffic control, power grid, and water? "They can poison the water system" .... like there's a valve and pipe somewhere that keeps water and poison separate and it's just waiting to be turned. My favorite part is when the air traffic controller sees his screen flash for a second and he naturally figures out that the firewall has been penetrated and they hacked the kernel of the OS. I'm willing to bet that in the script it was spelled "Colonel" .

| I'm a fan but it's like most tv shows/movies: you have to suspend belief and just go with the flow. |

| Sure but, they could get just about any high school student to fix these simple things for minimum wage. It just seems sloppy to me. I can suspend belief with highly trained SWAT teams that can't hit the side of a barn with an automatic weapon. I can live with being able to hotwire a car by just breaking off the lock. But, some of the things in 24 are just pure laziness. |

laziness?
You're a lot kinder that I would be.
I'd just call it BS!
What you see on TV doesn't even crack the surface of what is really going on out there in the real world. Most of it under the guise of "Homeland Security".
I don't even want to get started on what I KNOW to be true.
I don't want to cause anyone to have a coronary.
So I'll just wish y'alls a very good 2009 and exit stage left.........

A system wide reformat from the mainframe?
They'll have to "link the two mainframes together with an AVI motherboard". The motherboard will have to be "reprogramed to take a macro upload".
A flash memory card with an "Auto erase feature".
Somebody shoot me !!!!!!!!!
The saddest part of all this is that the show is sponsered by Cisco. They keep advertising "Come to our site and see all the Cisco technoloy in the show". There's a "technology" company that doesn't seem to know bad technology when they see it. |

As sad as it may seem the fact of the matter is that our government could be this stupid. Remember planed upgrades for Marine one were on a Peer2Peer network. Then we have the double layer fence being built across our southern border. Illegals crossing into this nation only have to climb over one side and use the other side to step down into the U.S. Or Obama telling the terrorist what we do for torture giving the terrorist the ability to be prepared. Or our government setting a time table to be out of Iraq so the terrorist can hide and come back out once our troops have been thinned out. It goes on and on. And the same type of brilliant minds run and manage our industries. |

What ever happened to "Top Secret" and "Need to Know".
In spite of all the stuff that our leaders are 'blabbing' about, they still deny that there is such a thing as "Extra-Terrestrials" on our shores.
